Just IN: Lawyers and the media are not permitted by the court to cover the trial, according to Abba Kyari.

Tuesday, entrance to Court 10 of the Federal High Court, Abuja, the location of the trial, was restricted to reporters covering the case of suspended DCP Abba Kyari and others.

After receiving an application to that effect from Mr. Sunday Joseph, the attorney for the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Justice Emeka Nwite issued the ruling.

Director of the Legal and Prosecution Division of the NDLEA Joseph had previously requested that the identify of a witness who would testify in court be kept secret.
The attorney asked the judge to deny entry to additional counsel, guests, litigants, and press during the hearing on Tuesday.

Justice Nwite then adjourned the case to make room for non-parties to the anti-narcotic lawsuit brought against the suspended police officers.
