Invasion of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal by Atiku...

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) candidate for president in the most recent presidential election, stormed the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal to observe hearings on his petition challenging Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the election's winners.

At around 8:30 am, the former vice president showed up in court to observe statements in his move on notice requesting live media coverage of the court.

Peter Obi, the Labour Party, LP candidate, attended court on Monday and Wednesday to observe proceedings related to his own case.
According to Bendelnews, Atiku was followed to court by PDP leaders, supporters, allies, and business associates.

In light of Atiku's position as a former vice president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, our source also mentioned that security has been stepped up to avert security breaches.
Although the pre-hearing session for Atiku's appeal was originally scheduled for 2pm, it was learned that it was moved up to today morning.
