A fire incident at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission's (EFCC) office in Enugu State has been confirmed.
The inferno destroyed one of the Zonal Command's structures.
Friday afternoon, Wilson Uwujaren, the EFCC's head of media, released a statement.
"A surge in the public power supply was what caused the event, which happened at around 12.30 am on Friday.
"The ensuing inferno was later put out through the combined efforts of the Enugu State and Federal Fire Service," he claimed.
According to the spokeswoman, no lives were lost in the incident.
