West Ham United defeated Leeds United 3-1 at the London Stadium, severely jeopardising their Premier League future.
West Ham, who advanced to the Europa Conference League final in midweek, played like a club suffering from a hangover and paid for it when Rodrigo scored on a volley after nobody cleared a long throw-in.
Leeds held the lead for only 15 minutes before they began to give up chances as soon as they were ahead. Declan Rice was set up by Bowen to scuff a shot home in what many believe to be his final home game for West Ham.
The second half was less intense, but Bowen managed to score his second goal in the 72nd minute, outdueling the outstanding Joel Robles with a poked finish from a tight angle.
Lucas Paqueta outran five Leeds defenders by the corner and sent up Manuel Lanzini on a plate for the game-winning goal in stoppage time.
With a loss, Leeds drops two spots to 18th place, two behind Everton. They can only be saved from relegation with a victory over Tottenham Hotspur on the final day of the season, although that is not entirely in their control.
