For the first time since his inauguration, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu spoke to Nigerians.
He declared that his administration would aim for annual Gross Domestic Product growth of no less than 6%.
This was said by Tinubu during his inaugural address on Monday in Eagles Square, Abuja, according to DAILY POST.
He expressed gratitude to Nigerians who supported him and cast ballots against him in the February 25 presidential election.
He claimed that payments for fuel subsidies have stopped under his watch.
A unified foreign exchange market would be taken into consideration by Tinubu's administration, he said.
"Nigeria will be run in accordance with the law, and we'll protect the country from all types of crime.
"Both our security document and architecture will be revised.
The president of Nigeria remarked, "Hope is back for Nigerians; let's just be unified.
We shall grow our Gross Domestic Product, GDP better than it is today; we target a GDP of not less than 6%.
