Atiku Abubakar, a former vice president, and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have declared their intention to challenge Bola Ahmed Tinubu's election before the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) by calling no more than 100 witnesses to testify.
This was revealed by their attorney, Chris Uche (SAN), on Saturday in Abuja at the start of the PEPC hearing this morning.
Uche stated that in addition to those already on the list and those who would be summoned, there will be 100 witnesses total.
Abubakar Mahmud SAN, attorney for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), stated that his client intends to bring two witnesses.
While the All Progressives Congress (APC) intends to call 25 witnesses in addition to those who will be subpoenaed, the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, will call 39 witnesses in addition to those who will be subpoenaed.
