An update on the six-story structure that has collapsed in Banana Island has been provided by the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, or LASEMA.
On Wednesday, a six-story structure collapsed near First Avenue in Banana Island.
The collapse, according to LASEMA, was caused by a truck that "ran into the building," the agency said.
Although recovery efforts are still going on, LASEMA stated in a Facebook post that no lives were lost in the event.
The organisation said that measures are still being made to prevent a second occurrence at the collapse site.
