Ronaldo's Al-Nassr fined the of sum 15,000 riyals for...

Regarding Cristiano Ronaldo's alleged lewd gesture during Al-Nassr's defeat to Al-Hilal, the Saudi Football Association has officially made a ruling.

During Tuesday's loss against Al-Nassr, Ronaldo allegedly insulted Al-Hilal supporters.

The legendary Portuguese player allegedly grabbed his crotch indecently in front of the opposing team's fans as retaliation for them continuously booing and making fun of him throughout the game.

Many people deemed the former Manchester United star's gesture offensive, and it caused a stir.

However, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation's Disciplinary and Ethics Committee did not see any justification for punishing the 38-year-old who had been agitated by the supporters' chants for Lionel Messi.

The Committee penalised Al-Nassr 15,000 riyals for the delay in their players' entry on the pitch at the start of the second half, not because of Ronaldo, as they decided.

According to GOAL, Ronaldo was left unpunished for his allegedly indecent gesture by the committee.

In making its judgement not to punish Ronaldo, the Committee relied on official television footage rather than the social media video clips that were circulating.

The committee's procedures and the use of technology in football officiating are now the subject of more discussion.
