Abdul'aziz Yari, a former governor of Zamfara State, has urged Muslims to pray for Bola Tinubu, the incoming president, during the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
At his home in Talata-Mafara town, in the Talata-Mafara region of the state, Yari made the call while speaking with reporters.
In addition, he exhorted all Nigerians to pray for Tinubu's victory, regardless of their differences in clan or location.
We should pray for Allah to guide and assist our president-elect in carrying out significant development for Nigerians, says Yari.
"We trust Tinubu and have faith in his ability to build Nigeria.
