In Kaduna, bandits kill nine villagers and loot stores.


 Nine villagers were slain when bandits raided Sabon Layi village in Birnin Gwari Region of Kaduna State, which is close to Kakangi town. Locals who spoke with bendelnews 

During the attack, the bandits, according to a local who only gave his name as Ahmed, robbed stores and rustled cattles.

"Four further dead were discovered in the neighbouring bush, and five bodies were removed from the village. Also, the robbers stole livestock and food from the village, the man claimed.

Muhammed Birnin Gwari, a different local, claimed that his biological brother narrowly fled the village.

He said that following a distress call, Operation Whirl Punch's air attacks killed several robbers.

He said that after receiving a distress call at around 9:44am, Operation Whirl Punch's air component carried out airstrikes that resulted in the deaths of numerous bandits.

Residents fled for safety as it was established that the bandits were shooting, rustling cattle, looting property, and committing other horrific crimes, the man stated.
