In Ondo State, the 73-year-old grandmother who burnt her son Victor, daughter-in-law Rachael, and her two grandchildren on fire is no longer alive.
After the event at the Aponmu community of the Akure South Local Government Area of the state, the septuagenarian Iforiti passed away two weeks later.
The grandma who was considered a witch by the neighbourhood, according to accounts, was also harmed by the fire.
She was reportedly locked up in one of the rooms by her children five days after the incident and then sent to the hospital for treatment.
Iforiti, who allegedly admitted to wanting to kill just her daughter-in-law for starving her, passed away at the hospital while receiving treatment.
She claims she was unaware that her son and grandkids would be impacted.
Remember that the family was purportedly asleep when Iforiti allegedly lit the house on fire.
The four members of the family were rescued by some neighbours who broke in through a window and took them to Federal Medical Center, Owo.
When the son and his wife arrived at the hospital, they passed away while the kids were still being treated.
