Gary Neville, who captained Manchester United in the past, has stated that Cristiano Ronaldo will not settle for a role with restricted playing time at his next club.
After having his contract with Manchester United terminated in November, Ronaldo is currently able to sign with any team he wants.
The 37-year-old player has been strongly associated with the Saudi Arabian organization Al-Nassr, who are reportedly offering him a big deal to play for them and move away from Europe.
Neville, on the other hand, is of the opinion that the five-time Ballon d'Or winner is more concerned with how frequently he contributes to the squad.
According to what Neville said on the Sky Sports World Cup Podcast, "I don't believe there's any doubt at all that Cristiano needs, wants, and has to play."
