Owing to the success of Big Brother Mzansi and Big Brother Naija, MultiChoice will unveil a Big Brother show like no other: a ‘contest’ between housemates from Nigeria and South Africa – in one house,” Dr Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content said.
Additionally, MultiChoice Nigeria's Ceo, John Ugbe, described it as a special edition that sounds like a blend of Afrobeats and Amapiano when he spoke at the MultiChoice Media Showcase event in Lagos on September 15, 2022.
In season 8, which he described as as "explosive," they want to examine the love-hate connection that exists between South Africa and Nigeria.
The most interesting season, according to Ugbe, will be on reality television and will start "sometime next year."
Meanwhile, the seventh season of the reality TV show Big Brother Naija was won by Josephina "Phyna" Otabors.
To win the N100 million reward, she defeated her competitors.
The top two competitors in the final round were Phyna and Bryann.
Daniella, Chichi, Adekunle, and Bella were among the remaining contestants.
