Dani Alves, a former defender for Barcelona, referred to Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo as "a b*stard" while acknowledging that the 37-year-old is the most challenging opponent he has ever faced.
While playing for Real Madrid, Ronaldo won the Champions League four times, but just twice in LaLiga.
During Ronaldo's time in Madrid, Barcelona dominated the domestic scene and won the championship six times.
Alves was a regular member of the Barcelona team during that extended winning streak, and the veteran is regarded as one of the best full-backs in club history.
Alves, though, did not hesitate to identify Ronaldo as his most challenging opponent, according to the UK Mirror.
Ronaldo, You cannot even take a single breath because of this b******.
"It's hard, but I didn't do too terribly. He's a surefire scorer," Alves remarked.
