Ukraine has accused Russian soldiers of rapping youngsters in the towns and villages surrounding Kharkiv, Ukraine's eastern metropolis.
They include the rape and killing of a one-year-old baby boy by Russian forces, according to Mail Online.
Lyudmyla Denisova, the Ukrainian Parliament's Commissioner for Human Rights, wrote the report.
Other charges in the article include the rape of three nine-year-old triplets in front of their mother, the rape of a two-year-old girl who survived, and the rape of two ten-year-old boys, among other horrible acts, according to Ukrainian journalist Iryna Matviyishyn.
'10 allegations of rape by the occupiers, including 8 children, were received from newly liberated villages in the Kharkiv region in within one hour,' according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense's Twitter feed.
'There were 56 reports yesterday. Two 10-year-old boys and a 1-year-old kid died as a result of their injuries.'
Russian soldiers are also accused of raping two males aged 67 and 78, according to the article.
'According to reports, the Commissioner's Psychological Assistance Line now receives calls regarding such war crimes on a daily basis,' Matviyishyn tweeted.
'Compared to the towns, villages, and cities that are still under Russian rule, this is a very minor portion of territory that has been liberated,' she remarked.
'Imagine how many such atrocities took place in Kherson, Melitopol, Mariupol, Berdyansk, and elsewhere.'
Yesterday, the first Russian soldier charged with war crimes in Ukraine pled guilty.
Vadim Shishimarin, a former Russian army tank sergeant, pleaded with Kateryna Shelypova, whose husband Oleksandr he killed in the early days of the war, in a Kyiv court, for forgiveness.
Shishimarin faces life in prison after pleading guilty to accusations of war crimes and murder in the assassination of Oleksandr, who was shot on February 28 while wheeling his bicycle along the road in the village of Chupakhivka, Sumy area.
