According to the First City Monument Bank (FCMB), loans worth N59 billion have been disbursed using the bank's rapid loan solution, FastCash.
In a statement released yesterday, the bank announced that it had made its two-millionth loan distribution, which had assisted customers in meeting their immediate financial needs and achieving their short-term objectives.
It went on to say that FastCash helps to narrow the access to finance gap in Nigeria and ensures the well-being of a Nigerian household's financial security.
According to Mr Shamsideen Fashola, Divisional Head, Personal Banking at FCMB, the amount of faith placed in FastCash by our consumers is "humbling." In order to provide an amazing client experience, we will make continual improvements to this product."
FCMB also offers a Salary Plus Loan, which allows its customers to obtain short- or medium-term cash prior to receiving their paychecks in order to satisfy urgent financial obligations.
"A large number of Nigerians have signed up for FastCash and SalaryPlus services. According to the bank, "Both products have proven to be good alternatives for those in need of quick cash during these difficult times, demonstrating FCMB's dedication to products and services that close the access to credit gap for people from all walks of life in Nigeria."
