Breaking: Peter Obi leaves PDP for Labour party.

Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State, has formally joined the Labour Party, days after resigning from the Peoples Democratic Party.

Since resigning from the PDP over problems that go against my persona and ideals, I've talked to a lot of different people to make sure we don't get off track on our way to our intended destination.

For me, the process of obtaining our goal is just as important as what comes next.

As a result, I've selected a path that I believe is consistent with our objectives and my mantra of moving the country from consumption to production: the Labour Party, which stands for people, workers, development, production, security, and unifying Nigerians as one family. All Nigerians are invited to join me in reclaiming our country. "Don't worry, I'll never let you down."
