Manchester City has revealed that they have agreed to buy Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund this summer.
In a tweet from their official account, the Premier League champions acknowledged this.
"Manchester City can confirm that we have agreed a deal in principle with Borussia Dortmund for forward Erling Haaland to join the Club on July 1, 2022," the statement said.
"The transfer is contingent on the Club and the player agreeing to terms."
Haaland is available for £62 million this summer due to a provision in his contract.
Guardiola will finally sign a striker, only a year after failing to sign Harry Kane for £150 million.
