The All Progressives Congress has officially confirmed the delay of their extraordinary convention for the presidential primary of 2023.
Saturday at 12:58 a.m., the National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Felix Morka, issued a brief statement confirming the news.
The message was headlined, "APC Presidential Primary Special Convention Postponed."
According to him, the postponement occurred when the Independent National Electoral Commission extended the deadline for political parties to submit their candidate lists.
Morka stated, "Following the extension of the deadline for the submission of candidate lists by political parties by the Independent National Electoral Commission, the All Progressives Congress hereby postpones its special convention for the presidential primary from May 29-30, 2022 to June 6-8, 2022.
