According to Senator Rochas Okorocha, a 2023 presidential candidate, only people like him can decide whether the country will dissolve to open the way for the actualization of Biafra in the country's history.
In an interview with BBC Pidgin, the congressman stated that members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, lack the ability to distinguish between Igbos and Nigerians, and that this is causing agitation.
"Only those like us have the power to decide whether or not Igbos will flee Nigeria," he stated. Our offspring will not be able to make this decision since what we see when sitting down, they will not be able to see when they stand up.
It is our responsibility to educate these agitators, who are our children, on the issues that concern them. It will be hard for me to disavow these children and claim that I am unaware of their existence."
According to the former governor of Imo State, the economic crisis engulfing the country was the driving force behind his decision to run for president of Nigeria.
"I entered the presidential race because of my passion and vision; I am dissatisfied with the way Nigerians are suffering and poor people are unable to feed themselves.he quoted.
