As Roman Abramovich walks away, potential Chelsea owners The Ricketts family have created a list of eight pledges to the club's fans if they win the attempt to buy the West London club.
While considering the possibility of renovating Stamford Bridge Stadium, the Ricketts stated that they would never allow Chelsea to compete in a European Super League (ESL).
According to Sky Sports, the Ricketts family has made the following promises to Chelsea fans:
"Make no changes to the club's name, emblem, or crest, or the Chelsea blue, without the supporters' permission."
"Never play in the European Super League (ESL) and always defend Chelsea F.C.'s integrity and history."
"Invest in the first team, experienced football leadership, and the Academy at all levels of the club to continue winning trophies."
"Place diversity and inclusion at the centre of the club and oppose prejudice and inequality in whatever form."
"We will look at every option for redeveloping Stamford Bridge and will do everything we can to remain playing in this iconic venue."
"Match Chelsea F.C. Women's present commitment and enhance the amount of women's games played at Stamford Bridge."
"Continue the Chelsea Foundation's crucial humanitarian work, which seeks to use the power of football and sport to encourage, educate, and inspire."
Since Abramovich put the Champions League holders up for sale, the Ricketts have been on the shortlist of potential buyers.
Abramovich, who has owned Chelsea since 2003, had been sanctioned by the UK government.
The UK government sanctioned Abramovich because of his ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin's regime.
