Following Real Madrid's 3-1 Champions League quarter-final triumph over Chelsea on Wednesday, Carlo Ancelotti identified Vinicius and Karim Benzema as two'very dangerous' individuals in his squad.
Real Madrid overcame Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, and Benzema and Vinicius were immensely impressed.
Benzema scored a hat-trick against Thomas Tuchel's side, and Kai Havertz's goal was insufficient to keep the Champions League holders in the competition.
"Benzema was unable to locate his pass to enter the stadium before to the game," Ancelotti told Amazon Prime.
"I urged him, 'Be quick or you won't be able to play!' Then, thankfully, Karim discovered the pass.'
"Karim Benzema is improving day by day, like a beautiful wine." Every day, he becomes more of a leader, and he feels more and more essential in this team and squad. That, I believe, is what distinguishes us.
"We were able to get in between the lines, and Vinicius and Karim Benzema were both really threatening." Both of them worked well together," he noted.
