According to the Daily Mail, Ealing Haaland's representatives and Manchester City have struck arrangements.
The Norwegian was offered a contract of over £500,000 per week, making him the highest paid player in the Premier League.
The striker and his representatives are thought to have approved the deal.
Manchester City, who have yet to replace renowned striker Sergio Aguero, will trigger Haaland's £63m release clause from Borussia Dortmund.
Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Paris Saint-Germain are all interested in signing Haaland.
But with a contract in place, Manchester City appear to be the frontrunners for his signature.
Since joining Dortmund from RB Salzburg in January 2020, the 21-year-old has scored 82 goals in 85 games across all competitions.
The striker has 15 goals in 17 caps for his country and is one of the world's most sought players.
