According to President Muhammadu Buhari, who spoke in Abuja on Tuesday, he will not allow any individual or organisation to destabilise the country.
Buhari also asked Nigerians to stand up against agents intent on bringing the country's law and order to a halt.
The land is ours. The resources are ours. And the people are ours as well." However, I am baffled as to why people will allow themselves to be successfully subverted in order to destabilise their own country," the President stated during an Iftar dinner with governors, ministers, and heads of government organisations.
He expressed gratitude to the Governors and Ministers for accepting his offer to break the Ramadan fast, and he expressed confidence that the country will thrive despite the current security problems that it was facing.
During a speech on the upcoming general elections, President Muhammadu Buhari stated that while the country will benefit from free, fair, and credible elections, the introduction of technology and the Permanent Voters Card (PVC) will make it impossible for anyone to claim millions of votes in the country again.
