War: President Zelensky criticises NATO for its lack of guts.

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky has slammed NATO states, claiming they lack the will to defend his country from #Russian invasion.

#NATO is hesitant to establish a no-fly zone over Ukraine, #Zelensky stated at a press conference on Saturday.

The Ukrainian president stated that the West should become more involved in discussions and possibly offer his country with its own security guarantees.

According to CNN, he stated that NATO members "without the fortitude to come together for Ukraine" and that there is "no common view."

The President went on to say that Ukraine is working nonstop to bring the protracted war to an end, and that the country is ready to begin the process.

"Our diplomats are finalising the agenda for a potential meeting of Ukrainian and Russian representatives," he said.

"This is something I'd like to see happen. So we can truly begin the process of settlement, #peace, and the end of the war, not simply on paper."

"In a civilised world, this is how the end of conflict begins," he remarked.

The Ukrainian president expressed optimism that diplomacy may bring peace, claiming that Russia had sent "a signal" that it was willing to negotiate, though he did not elaborate on what this signal was.
