Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, has denied reports that he was willing to give up to the Russians.
Zelensky said that the suggestions are a "childish game."
A banner on a Ukrainian news show said that Zelensky was asking his people to put down their weapons, CNN says.
He said in a video statement: "I can only ask the Russian military to give up their guns, and come home."
: "We're already back home. We're defending our land and our kids." We will not give up our guns until we win.
President Biden also announced that Ukraine will get an extra $800 million in security aid from the United States.
Biden made the announcement in a speech from the White House on Wednesday. He did not say when the speech was, but it was on Wednesday.
When all is said and done, $1 billion worth of aid has been given out in the last week.
