group criticises the APC's zoning formula, claiming it is anti-corporate Nigerian existence.

Following the announcement of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APCzoning )'s of national leadership offices on Thursday, a group working under the auspices of Indigenous People of Nigeria (IPN) criticised the party's zonal organisation of national leadership offices.

Mazi Nnamdi Iroegbu, the group's convener, told a press conference in Abuja that the arrangement was an evident insensitivity to the country's multi-ethnic environment, warning that it may jeopardise the country's business existence.

The group said that the All Progressives Congress' zoning scheme was "unjust to a segment of the country, notably the Southeast," and that the party was toying with the country's unity.

The APC had previously zoned the National Chairman to the North Central, the Deputy Chairman (North) to the Northwest, the Chairman (South) to the South East, and the National Secretary to the South West, according to DAILY POST.

The organisation said that because South West had previously held the APC leadership, Speaker of the House of Representatives, and Vice President of the country, the current arrangement demonstrated that the region was not valued by the party.

"We hold the opinion, as previously articulated by APC, that the North and South swerved positions, such that all positions originally held by the North automatically belong to the South, and vice versa," the organisation said.

"It goes without saying that this is an unjust treatment that is so offensive and vindictive that it requires prompt correction."

"The APC's failure to remedy the erroneous treatment deepens South East alienation and puts Nigeria's corporate survival in jeopardy."

IPN bemoaned the state of the country under the APC, questioning how the party continues to get it wrong when it comes to taking initiatives to bring the country together.
