Additionally, those attempting to pass through the road that connects the venue were subjected to stop and search, and vehicular movements were restricted, with several vehicles being turned back by security personnel.

Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi, the Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps, had ordered operatives to work closely with the Nigerian Police Force and other security agencies to ensure hitch-free vehicular movement.
According to Bisi Kazeem, the Corps Public Education Officer, operatives drafted to cover the national convention were also required to clear obstructions from the roads, conduct rescue operations in the event of an emergency, and maintain order around the cordoned areas.
To ensure the Corps plays an effective role in ensuring smooth traffic flow, the Corps Marshal also directed the Deputy Corps Marshal in charge of the Department of Operations to activate the deployment of 1500 Corps personnel and 35 vehicles, including tow trucks, bikes, and ambulances, to strengthen enforcement of restrictions throughout the convention process.
He warned the personnel on the ground to take an active role in the democratic process, displaying the highest levels of professionalism and ingenuity, and avoiding any temptation that could lead to the abuse of voters' rights.
The Corps Marshal wished the ruling party a peaceful, free, and fair convention while reading the marching order to the troops.
