Breaking: Kaduna boils again, 50 people shot dead, a church burned down, and many houses razed down by fire

At least 50 people were killed and a number of people were taken when bandits attacked nine communities in the Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

ASP Mohammed Jalinge, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, said that the command hasn't yet figured out how many people died during the attack.

Until we get the full storey from the Divisional Police Officer in Giwa and the Area Commander in Zaria, we don't know how the incident took place.

Bendel News says that Mansur Ibrahim, a member of a Vigilante Group in Dillalai, says that the bandits also burned down homes and cars and stole more than 100 cows from the area around there.

Dillalai, Zango Tama, Kaya, Barebari, Anguwan Bakko, Gidan Alhajin Kida, Kadanya, and Durumi were some of the villages that were affected by this.

At least 15 people are said to have been killed in Dillalai, where five commercial trucks and five houses were burned down in the attack.

"They also set fire to a church in Zangon Tama village, which is in the Giwa local government area," he said.
