The police have identified an orderly captured on video carrying food for a "Very Important Person."
According to CSP Muyiwa Adejobi, the acting Force Public Relations Officer, the cop is assigned to the Kwara State Police Command and has been summoned to the Force headquarters in Abuja.
The names of the VIP — a woman — and the police officer in the viral video, Yahaya Abubakar, were written on the cop's badge, but Adejobi did not reveal them.
The video showed the attractive woman sauntering around the serving area while a police officer trailed her with a tray of food.
Adejobi reacted to the video by condemning the act and stating that the police officer had been invited to Abuja.
"We've seen the cop," he explained. We'll investigate the situation and take appropriate action. Such behaviour is abhorrent.
However, the policeman will travel to Abuja to learn more about the heinous incident, as we are determined to put an end to it."
