#VIDEO: After refusing to wear a mask at a school board meeting, Dad was booted out.

This week, a father was ejected out of a school board meeting for refusing to wear a mask.

A security guard approached Dave Calus while he was seated in a chair observing a presentation at a board of education meeting in Webster, New York, on Tuesday night, Feb 8, and requested him to put on a mask.

Calus claimed he said "Thank you" to the guard but refused to cover up. "No, you need to put your mask on right now," the officer insisted.

Calus' chair was then pulled to the furthest corner of the room by the security guard.

According to video released to the Facebook page ROC for Educational Freedom Public Page, when Calus turned around to face the security guy, the guard shoved him out of a back door.

"What are you doing?" shouts the woman who is capturing the footage. "What exactly are you up to?! Oh my god. Oh my god."

"That is a form of assault. That is a form of assault "explains the woman.

Another lady asks the guard, "Do you lay your hands on our children as well?"

The event occurred just one day before New York Governor Kathy Hochul announced the end of the state's indoor mask mandate for employers, reporting a 93 percent decrease in COVID-19 cases.

Calus, a father of two with a high school and college-aged son, believes the altercation was unprovoked.

On Kimberly's Revolution podcast, Calus said: "I didn't wear a mask when I entered the building. When I signed in, they told me that I needed to wear a mask. 'Thank you,' I said."

"I checked in, they handed me a mask, which I did not wear, and I stuffed it into my pocket."

According to Calus, the school board segregated parents who refused to wear masks from the rest of the parents who followed the rules.

He explained, "They were segregating disguised and unmasked parents." "The unmasked parents would have to watch and listen to the board meeting from a classroom with a video monitor."

Before the guard approached him, he said he had been seated for around 15 or 20 minutes. He wasn't surprised when the guard approached him, because he'd seen him approach other maskless parents and ask them to cover their faces.

Before he was removed, Callus had planned to speak to the school board regarding mask mandates, which he opposes.

The incident is being investigated by the Webster Police Department.
