SPORT: Dele Alli joins #Everton for £10 million from #Tottenham #Hotspur.

Dele Alli, an England player, has signed a £10 million ($13 million) deal with Everton, joining new Everton manager Frank Lampard at Goodison Park.

The 25-year-old battled for form at Tottenham but has a new lease on life in Merseyside.

"Everton has completed the signing of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli on a two-and-a-half-year contract until the end of June 2024," Everton said on their official website on Tuesday morning, February 1.

"After joining Spurs in February 2015, the England international played 269 appearances for the club, scoring 67 goals.

Following a loan move for Donny van de Beek from Manchester United on the final day of the January transfer window, Everton boss Frank Lampard has made his first permanent signing. Dele Alli joins Everton from Tottenham Hotspur for a fee of £10 million.

"I'm ecstatic to have signed for Everton, a huge club with a tremendous fans and history," Alli said.

"I'm excited to get started and can't wait to wear an Everton shirt for the first time."

Alli's move from north London to the North West will be initially free, with the Toffees paying £10 million after he makes 20 appearances.

He has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract that will keep him in the league until the summer of 2024.
