Chelsea will get $5 million from FIFA because they won the FIFA Club World Cup on Saturday, beating Palmeiras.
This comes from Sporting News: FIFA will also pay Palmeiras $4 million because they lost the Club World Cup final to Chelsea and Al Ahly $2.5 million because they won the third-place final (Bronze medal).
Chelsea beat Palmeiras 2-1 on Saturday night in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to win their first FIFA Club World Cup.
Romelu Lukaku and Raphael Veiga scored for both Chelsea and Palmeiras, so both teams ended up with a 1-1 draw at the end of the game.
But Kai Havertz scored a penalty in the second half of extra time to make sure Chelsea won the FIFA Club World Cup over Brazil.
Al Ahly had already beaten Al Hilal 4-0 in the third-place match on Saturday.
