Pep Guardiola, Manchester City's manager, has explained why Rodri's handball was not punished with a penalty in their 1-0 victory over Everton on Saturday.
Everton striker Richarlison was offside in the buildup, according to Guardiola.
The hosts, on the other hand, were enraged when Rodri got away with extending his arm to the ball in the first half.
The no-penalty call on the field, however, was upheld by VAR review, and City kept their 1-0 lead.
"It was offside," Guardiola said in his post-match press conference.
"There was VAR, and the action was on the wrong side of the field." The image was not visible to me.
