Chelsea have confirmed the departure of two players following the arrival of Burstow.

Following the acquisition of Mason Burstow from Charlton Athletic, Chelsea announced the departure of two players on Tuesday.

Burstow had joined Chelsea from Charlton Athletic.

Burstow, on the other hand, was loaned back to the Valley for the remainder of the 2021/22 season by the Blues.

Chelsea reported that Academy goalkeepers Ethan Wady and Sami Tlemcani have left the club on loan just minutes after announcing Burstow's agreement.

Wady joined Hendon, while Tlemcani joined Merstham in the Isthmian League Premier Division.

"Academy goalkeeper Ethan Wady has moved on loan to Hendon," Chelsea wrote in a statement on their website.

"The American, who joined the Chelsea Academy for the 2017/18 season, has previously obtained first-team experience on loan with Isthmian League side Tooting & Mitcham United and National League South side Dartford." Hendon is a member of the Premier Division South of the Southern League.

"Wady turned 20 last week and has appeared three times for the development squad in 2021-22."

"The 17-year-old joined Chelsea from Paris FC in his home France in October 2020. He has made four appearances for our Under-18s and will now continue his development at Merstham in the English seventh division, where they are now 15th in the table.
