On Tuesday morning, gun-wielding men reportedly raided Ekwulobia town in Anambra State's Aguata Local Government Area.
According to a DAILY POST eyewitness, it is still unclear whether the individuals are armed robbers, cults, or bandits operating under the pretence of unknown gunmen.
According to the source, an unidentified male official of the Anambra Traffic Management Agency (ATMA) was gunned down from behind while regulating traffic at the always-bustling Ekwulobia junction.
DSP Toochukwu Ikenga, the state police command's spokeswoman, could not be reached for comment right away.
