Abba Kyari and four police officers have been arrested for dealing in cocaine, according to the NDLEA.

DCP Abba Kyari, a suspended police officer, has been arrested, according to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

On Monday, the DEA indicted him for his role in a 25-kilogram cocaine trade.

In a statement, NDLEA spokesman Femi Babafemi stated that the police had given Kyari over.

ACP Sunday J. Ubua, ASP Bawa James, Inspector Simon Agirgba, and Inspector John Nuhu are among the others.

On Monday at 5 p.m., they were transported into the NDLEA headquarters in Abuja for questioning and further investigation.

The agency promised to leave no stone unturned in ensuring that suspects in custody and others who may still be identified face the full force of the law.

Kyari was previously the Commander of the Force Intelligence Bureau's Intelligence Response Team (IRT).
