Tuchel To Punished Lukaku For A Shady Interview

According to the Daily Telegraph, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is mulling two punishments for Romelu Lukaku.

This came after the Belgian international gave a contentious interview about Chelsea in which he stated his wish to return to Inter Milan soon.

Lukaku said he was unhappy with his circumstances at Stamford Bridge in an interview that aired last Thursday.

Lukaku returned to Stamford Bridge in the summer after a £97.5 million signing from Inter Milan.

The Belgian striker also apologised to Inter fans for the way he left the Italian club in the interview. When it came to leaving Inter, he also mentioned Chelsea as a fourth option.

However, in his pre-match press conference on Friday, Chelsea manager Tuchel agreed that the striker's words did not benefit the club.

According to the report, the Blues leader is now considering penalising his striker.

According to the article, the striker's punishment includes being benched for Sunday's Premier League match against Liverpool.

The German coach wants to keep the Belgian out of Chelsea's matchday squad totally because he may face a fine if he gives an unapproved interview.
