Anthony Martial has denied assertions made by his interim manager, Ralf Rangnick, that he refused to participate in Manchester United's 2-2 draw with Aston Villa on Saturday.
Sevilla is interested in signing Martial this January window, as he is desperate to leave Old Trafford.
At Villa Park, United had only eight players on the bench, including two goalkeepers, because the France attacker was not with the rest of the group.
"He (Martial) didn't want to be in the squad," Rangnick remarked after the game.
"Normally, he would have been in the squad, but he refused. That is why he did not accompany us on our trip yesterday (Friday)."
Martial, on the other hand, posted on his Instagram storey, "I will never refuse to play a match for Man United."
"I've been here for seven years and I've never mistreated the club or the supporters, and I'll never disrespect them again.
