Breaking: At 93, Olubadan of Ibadanland joins his Ancestors.

Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, the Olubadan of Ibadan land, has joined his forefathers.

The monarch was said to have joined his predecessors in the early hours of Sunday, according to the DAILY POST.

The monarch who ruled over Ibadan's 11 local government areas died less than a month after the death of Oba Jimoh Oyewumi, Soun of Ogbomoso.

At the age of 93, Oba Adetunji passed away.

According to sources inside the Olubadan's Popoyemoja palace, the Olubadan died at the University College Hospital in Ibadan.

"Yes, the Olubadan has joined his ancestors," a person who did not want to be identified claimed.

"He passed away at UCH."

"Though many are still enjoying the new year at the palace, the monarch has joined his forefathers at UCH."
