No amount of counselling or reconciliation efforts, according to Kim Kardashian, will be enough to save her marriage to Kanye West.

Kim Kardashian has once again stated her desire to divorce her estranged husband Kanye West as soon as possible.

After filing for divorce from the rapper in February, the 41-year-old reality show star filed documents to move forward with her divorce and request to be legally single. She asked for child custody and for property matters to be separated from her marital status.

Kim's marriage to Kanye West has "irremediably broken down and she no longer intends to be married," according to court records acquired by People on Monday, December 13. "There simply are no compelling reasons to deny a move to bifurcate and terminate marital status in this case," she added.

"There is no hope of saving the marriage through counselling or other measures," the mother of four added.

The following was taken from the court document;....

"The marriage between the two parties has irreversibly broken down. Kardashian] has lost interest in marrying West.

"In this case, there are no compelling reasons to deny a move to bifurcate and terminate marital status.

"There is no doubt that the parties' marriage is no longer functional. Kardashian does not want to reconcile with [West] and wishes to end their marriage. Irreconcilable conflicts have resulted in the marriage's irreversible dissolution, and there is no way to save it through counselling or other measures. The continuation of West and Kardashian's technical marital status serves no beneficial purpose, and there is no reason to keep the legal connection going.

"Irreconcilable conflicts existed and continue to exist between West and me, resulting in the irreversible breakdown of our marriage. At this moment, no counselling or reconciliation efforts will be of any use.

"Both West  and I are deserving of the chance to start over. As a result, I am requesting that our marital status be bifurcated and terminated."

Despite Kardashian's claims that West has been unresponsive in legal procedures relating to their divorce, West has made public requests to reunite with his ex-girlfriend. While playing at the Free Larry Hoover concert with Drake at the Los Angeles Coliseum last Thursday, West dedicated his song "Runaway" to Kardashian.

In his lyrics, West said, "I need you to run straight back to me, baby," adding, "more particularly, Kimberly." The reality star was joined by her two eldest children, North and Saint, as well as her sister Kendall Jenner and mother Kris Jenner, at the event.
