Fani-Kayode couldn't perform in bed for six years, I was able to get my kids through...Ex-wife reveals in Court

A former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, suffers from erectile dysfunction, according to a beauty queen, Precious Chikwendu, who testified before the Customary Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Abuja.

Because of his purported challenge, she claims, Fani-Kayode was unable to complete their six-year relationship with her.

Miss Chikwendu stated that the four children she had with Fani-Kayode were all born through artificial insemination.

According to her testimony in court, she was compelled to remain celibate during the period they were together as a pair.

The former minister did not perform any rites before their marriage, and he did not pay her bride price, according to her testimony in court.

As a result, she petitioned the court to declare that she and Fani-Kayode were never legally married.

Chikwendu, as she has done previously, accused Fani-Kayode of assaulting her while they were married. She also claimed that the former minister lied to her when he told her that his marriage to his third wife had come to an end.

This was stated by the petitioner, Chikwendu, in her "Application for issuance of civil summons/plaint" against Fani-Kayode, the respondent, on November 29, 2021, according to the petition.

Her attorney, Mr Abiodun E. Olusanya, filed the lawsuit, which was given the case number FCT/CCK8/01/043/2021.

She is requesting the following reliefs from the court: "An order declaring that the petitioner and respondent did not have a customary marriage (despite their six-year cohabitation) under the native law and customs of the Nanka, Orumba North, Anambra State of Igbo people in the Anambra State of Igbo people.

As an alternative, assuming that the evidence presented during the trial establishes a customary marriage between the parties: "An order dissolving the customary marriage between the petitioner and respondent with immediate effect." "

In particular, an order providing the petitioner access to and custody of the four children of the parties' cohabitation is sought, particularly during the academic year of the children.

According to the petition, "an order for the respondent to be continually accountable for the academics, health care and welfare of the four children from their previous cohabitation."

A court order directing the respondent to release and return the Petitioner's property to the Petitioner."

Certifications and documents issued by the petitioner, as well as trophies from the United Nations pageantry, a Red Range Rover SUV registered in her charity's name, as well as certificates issued by the foundation, as well as the petitioner's photograph, are among the possessions.

The other items she identified included her mother's burial videos and souvenirs, her mother's certificates and documents, her clothes and personal belongings, which included gadgets, sewing machines left at the children's play area, and her refrigerator and kitchen equipment for her food company, Mommy Pee Food.

Chikwendu claimed that her relationship with Fani-Kayode was characterized by "woes, lies, deceits, quarrels, assaults, battery, and domestic violence, a lack of trust and absence of love, public disgrace and shame, and an absence of sex due to the respondent's inability to sexually perform and intolerable conduct."

"The respondent has continuously behaved in such a way that the Petitioner cannot reasonably be expected to continue living with the respondent any further or formally enter into any form of traditional marriage with him," she argued, among other things. "The Petitioner cannot reasonably be expected to continue living with the respondent any further or formally enter into any form of traditional marriage with him," she added.

It was also said that "the Respondent has been a violent person from the beginning of the cohabitation and has attacked the Petitioner and her family members at will and without provocation."

She said that when the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) raided Fani-house Kayode's in 2016, she discovered his marriage certificate with his third wife, Regina, which she claimed was discovered during the raid.

Her claim is that she questioned him about it and demanded to see their divorce certificate, after which she claims he confessed that he had not done so.

"At every attempt, the petitioner attempted to have sexual intercourse with the respondent, there was never erection of the respondent's penis/manhood, and penetration was frustrating," Chinwendu explained.

At such times of frustration and sexual desire, the petitioner would be left with the option of rubbing herself against the respondent in order to obtain the tiniest sliver of comfort.

"The petitioner then insisted that the parties seek medical attention for the respondent, and upon visiting the family doctor, the respondent claimed that he had been diagnosed with a cyst on his penis/manhood, which was preventing the respondent from having an erection and or performing sexually," the petitioner continued.

The respondent was allegedly prescribed cyprotab, and the doctor advised that the respondent should go ahead and decide when he desires to have the cyst removed or untangled "

When the respondent returned home a few days after his doctor's visit, he informed the petitioner that he had discussed the operation with Regina and that she had prayed over it, and that the respondent should not proceed with the operation because else he would die.

However, if the petitioner attempted to engage him in sexual activities with the respondent, he would claim that his penis/manhood was hurting him and then drink the cyprotab medication, which the petitioner was unable to prove.

Respondent refused to use sex toys that the petitioner had purchased for her. She also warned the petitioner not to suggest using them in the future.

In addition, Chikwendu averred that, since August 2020, when she ended her cohabitation with the Respondent, she has been consistently denied access to her children, and that her children have been continuously deprived of parental motherly care and protection.

She claimed that Fani-Kayode had a habit of not paying his domestic staff/workers/nannies, and that she was the victim of this practice ""Most domestic staff/workers/nannies who are not paid their wages usually resign and flee without informing anyone, and considering the security situation, the workers could kidnap any of the children," says the respondent. "If the children are left with the respondent, the workers could kill any of the children at any time."

Current proceedings in court involve the respondent and some of the former domestic staff/workers, who are alleging nonpayment of salaries as well as mistreatment."

It has not yet been determined if Fani-Kayode would file a response to the application.
