The security agents who entered the apartment of Supreme Court Justice Mary Odili, according to Inspector-General of Police Usman Alkali Baba, have been detained.

Usman stated this during a two-day capacity development workshop for security operatives in Lagos and Ogun states, which was held at Victoria Island in Lagos and organized by the Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Zone 2.

"I have taken my time not to talk rapidly on this topic so that when I do, I am able to tell Nigerians about what happened or what was done," he added.

"To the best of my knowledge, we've been able to apprehend the criminals, and we're looking into the circumstances surrounding the judge's home invasion or siege."

The property was reportedly raided by security officials on Friday, according to Sources; however, both the Federal Ministry of Justice and the Economic Financial Crime Commission have denied involvement in the raid.

The justice is the wife of Peter Odili, a former governor of Rivers State who recently won a court case against the Nigerian Immigration Agency, with the court ordering the release of his passport, which had been taken by the immigration service.

The Joint Panel Recovery unit of the Federal Ministry of Justice was given a search warrant by the Abuja Magistrate court to search the house of Mary Odili, the Supreme Court's second most senior judge behind Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Tanko Muhammad.

Magistrate Emmanuel Iyanna withdrew the search warrant after being duped by two affidavits signed by a self-proclaimed whistle-blower, Aliyu Umar, and a senior police officer, Lawrence Ajodo, who led the invasion.
