In the course of a one-day official visit to Owerri, President Muhammadu Buhari arrived at Imo, in which he will initiate several state government development projects.
The President of the South East Governor's Forum and the Governor of Ebonyi, Dave Umahi, and the candidate of the state governor for All Progressives Congress, Anambra were received at the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport by the Governor, Hope Uzofinma.
The President was also received by cabinet ministers and presidential aid workers from the South East, NALDA Executive Secretary, Mr Paul Ikonne and other Federal and State Government officials, also attended the airport to welcome the president.
Among other things, the President is slated to open the first phase on the connecting road to Naze/Mekede/Ihiagwa/Obinze
The president would meet with the stakeholders from the South East area of the country in the Town Hall before departing the state.
