Christopher Orji, The Director-General Of The National Biotechnology Development Agency, Committed Suicide ln Abuja Following Invitation By EFCC.

Christopher Orji, an associate director of the National Biotechnology Development Agency, is said to have committed himself in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

He was the coordinator of the agency's Bioresource Centre in Plateau State's Langtang Local Government Area until his death.

According to a Daily Trust report, the deceased's lifeless body was discovered dangling from a ceiling fan at his residence in the Federal Housing Authority Estate, Lugbe, Abuja, August 30.

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death was stated to have begun by the police homicide detectives.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission had also invited the deceased to report to its Abuja headquarters on the day he was discovered dead, according to the report.
