#IGBOHO: DSS restrained from arresting Igboho by court


 The State High Court Oyo has given the ex-parte movement that stopped the State Security Department and the Federation Attorney General from the arrest of the Yoruba Agitator, Head of Adeyemo Sunday, known as the IGBOho week.


The court also held back DSS and AGF from blocking the Bank's Activist Joruba account.


Justice Ladian Akintola gave orders after the ex-parte movement transferred by his lawyer, Yomi Aliu (SAN), in court on Wednesday.

"The court has ordered that he should not be arrested, intimidated, harassed, detained, or killed. The court also said that his account should not be blocked," said Yomi Aliu.

"The court has proven himself as a masses defender. The court has given permission for him to trail his fundamental rights of free movements.

"He can now run free as a Nigerian and his house should not be attacked. AGF is also a party in this matter. I am sure he will obey this assessment. He is a senior advocate. I urge the government to obey the law," he added.

He also asked the court to stop the Attorney General Federation, DSS and other security institutions from capturing him or violating his fundamental rights.

Igboho has prayed for, "command orders who hold respondents, agents, special and colleagues in other security forces and / or anyone who acts on their behalf and / or instructions from capturing, holding back, harassing, harassing and / or in any way Disrupting His personal freedom, freedom of moving the head of Week Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho, the pleasure of its properties without fear of the invasion of his house by respondents and their agents, "among others.

The court judgement was postponed the lawsuit until August 18.
