SUNDAY IGBOHO DEMAND 500M COMPENSATION

A lawyer of the Rights Activist of Yoruba, Domingo Adeymus, which is popularly called Sunday Igboho, has demanded N500 m from the federal government for the losses incurred by his client after the officers of the State Service Department invaded his residence

The operations of the DSS on Thursday assaulted  the residence of the activist, who had been promoting Yoruba Nation. The services later advertised a statement that confirms the raid, revealing that two Igboho helpers were murdered and ammunition supposedly recovered from the residence of it.


In the letter entitled, "Unconstitutional Grange Invasion of the residence of Sunday Igboho", signed by the lawyer, Chief Yomi Alliyu (SAN) of Chief Yomi Alliyu & Co, on Saturday, demanded N500m as repair for damage caused by The DSS 'Officers to the exotic cars of your client who included Mercedes Benz Class G and 2019 Lexus Car.


The lawyer also stated that during the invasion of the house, the DSS was about 1,000 €, N2M, expensive jewelry that were worth millions, travel documents, amulets, iPhone 12 and Igboho phones of approximately 15 others who live in the house, including Those murdered by officers and others.


He added: "We accept that the Federal Government orders an investigation into the actions of the various security operators led by DSS that assaulted Sunday Sunday Adeleeyo's house with a view to sanctioning and liberating all innocent people from detention and compensate all the families of those Murdered. Our client should also be paid with N500m as repair for damage to their exotic cars including Mercedes Benz G-Class and Lexus of 2019. We also demand a public apology. ''


The lawyer also said that all Nigerians were aware that in the open crusade of Igboho for the creation of the Republic of Oodua, he always preached peace and warned the followers of him never to resort to violence.


He said: "He always said that he is God and Alale" that he will fight for Yoruba Nation. We can say boldly that, as people who followed the campaign of it, but not necessarily supporting the dismemberment of Nigeria, which no victim has occurred wherever such rallies were carried out.
