Agitator of the Yoruba, Sunday Adeyemo also known as the Sunday of Igboho, has been arrested in Cotonou, the Benin Republic.
Igboho was arrested by security forces in the Republic of Benin about three weeks after the Foreign Department of Service said he wanted to hoard weapons, the guess he had refused.
The source said that Igboho would be sent home to Nigeria on Tuesday (today) from the Benin Republic, one of Nigerian neighboring countries in the West African sub-region.
"He was arrested in Cotonou when he tried to travel out on Monday night. The aim is German. Security forces in the Republic of Benin had to repatriate him to Nigeria on Tuesday," said the source.
When contacted, the member of the Igboho Law Team, Lumi Olajengbesi, said he would speak with the main advisor, Yomi Aliyu (SAN), and again later.
