Former Provost Marshal from the Nigerian army, Major general Hassan ahmed has been Murdered.
He was killed on Thursday night in the Abaji area in the capital city and his sister kidnapped.
A source close to the family disclosed that they were coming from Okene when they were attacked.
"They opened fire on his vehicle, he died. The driver pretended to die from the wounds of gunshots , so they took the sister", said the informant.
The deceased was driven by the driver, Sergean Bukar at Toyota Hilux with a personal plate number.
Ahmed's body was delivered to the Nigerian Army Association Hospital (Naowa) in Abuja.
Army Chief of Staff, Faruk Yahaya recently appointed him as director at the Army headquarters in Abuja.
