The Kaduna State High Court has freed Sheikh Ibraheem El-Zakzaky, the leader of the Islamic movement in Nigeria (IMN), and his wife.
The leader of the Islamic movement in Nigeria (IMN), Sheikh Ibraheem El-Zakzaky, and his wife was released after four (4) years of standing in court.
This decision was made by Justice Gideon Kurada who alleged that the prosecution against the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), Sheikh Ibraheem El- Zakzaky, and his wife, Zeenat Ibrahim were not shown and proven in the court.
Sheikh Ibraheem El-Zakzaky and his wife who were accused claimed innocent of the charges against them which included assembly that violated law, guilty murder, public peace disturbance, and others.
Sheikh Ibraheem El-Zakzaky, the leader of the Islamic movement in Nigeria (IMN), and his wife has been in detention since 2015 when the Islamic movement in Nigeria clashed with Nigerian forces in the country.
